God Squad by Gianna

Hi. A few weeks ago, we went on a road trip. Our first stop was Ohio. Most summers we go to a place called Lakeside. In the mornings at Lakeside we go to "God Squad." A guy called Chip Richter leads it.

Mr. Chip is a missionary because he gave God Squad his time, instead of doing what he thought he was going to do (which was just to play and sing at Lakeside). Here is a link to his story if you want to cut and paste in your browser:

You may ask what is God Squad? God Squad is a place where kids sing, and do a craft, and have a snack, and very important, pray. 

We start off by grabbing a name tag and going inside. Loud music plays, and a message repeats, "This is God Squad. Grab a name tag and come on in!" It is very welcoming. 

Then Mr Chip comes and sings for us and prays. I really like singing "Hey There," doing the "Beaver Song," seeing the puppet, Quackers the Duck, and doing the craft. 

But, I will just say that I will pray for the people (and the repose of their souls) who SCREAM "IIIIIIIIIIICCEE CREEEEEEAM!!!" ("ice cream") and do not give peace. (Just kidding).
