Connecting With Other Countries This Advent By Autumn
Hello!
As we begin to transition into Advent, I thought that it might be nice to share a way that we can all connect with the rest of the world this season. Recently, I was given an Advent calendar by a friend, Crystal Jackson, who runs Rescued Treasures Freedom Boutique.
This calendar, instead of having candies inside, is a list of countries for each day of Advent. Every day there is a new country to pray for, as well as what to pray for for that country. I thought that this was a very cool idea, and decided to share the list so that you all could participate too. This is a good way for us all to remember those who are less fortunate than us as we prepare for our own Christmas celebrations. Many of these countries are places where Christmas is hard to celebrate due to violence, religious persecution, etc.
